We live in the western panhandle of Nebraska in the North Platte Valley.  Mostly a farming community but also many horse enthusiasts live in the area.

History plays a big part of our heritage. Chimney Rock and the Scottsbluff National Monument are huge tourist attractions. It is quite possible that your ancestors passed through here on wagon trains. We have a great respect for the hardships the pioneers endured many years ago.

We both grew up here and have three children. Alies , John , and Tia . They all have a great love for horses. We ride and train team roping horses, but no longer do it for the public due to limited time.

I only choose a very select few to fit into my program. The requirements are pretty heads, big hips, overall confirmation, and color is always an added compliment. Watching a horse ride will tell us if he has the right moves and right mind to be a great one.

We started holding horse sales in 1997. (April & September) All the Twombly horses offered in the sales are guaranteed to be the way we represent them and are guaranteed to be sound. Our reputation for selling horses is hard to beat. We are confident that you will like our horses.

We also accept consignments to our sales. Many of the consignors are repeat sellers and usually bring the horses they have raised or owned for several years. Many of the horses have been used extensively on the ranch, in the feedlot or both. We sell horses all year round. If we can be of any service, please contact us!
