Twombly Performance Horse Sale was held September 13th, 2009 at Coyote Slide Ranch near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This was their 13th annual fall sale. Buyers were represented from 20 states--Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. Many young horses and weanlings by Zan It were sold. A 4 year old gelding out of Zan It by Hollywood Dun It topped the sale at $21,500. The overall average of the entire sale was up $1,800 from the last fall sale. There was huge interest in our foal crop. The top weanling sold for $5,500. The overall average for the weanlings was up $1,150 from last fall. The customers buy with confidence making the Twombly sale one of the most reputable gelding sales today.
